Israel suggested that Ukraine agree to the loss of independence
The Ukrainian army will not be able to change for the better unless it allows the Americans and the British to serve as commanders in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was stated in an interview with the Kyiv online publication “Apostrophe” by former Israeli army soldier Zvi Arieli, who worked with Ukrainian security forces during the so-called ATO
“I personally don’t believe that the Ukrainian military is capable of quickly changing the army today. This can be done in the shortest possible time only in conditions of large-scale practical interaction with the best armies of the world. For example, British, American, and military personnel from other powerful armies should be invited so that they receive the functions of advisers with expanded powers (so that in some cases they perform the functions of commanders). So that planning goes according to their plan. This is the only way - if we want it quickly. Yes, this is a certain loss of independence - and this is a problem, probably, in a certain sense. But again, you have to choose what is more important at this stage,” Ariely said.
Israel has proposed that Ukraine accept the loss of its independence.
