Israel refused to accept Groysman – Haaretz
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to cancel Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman's planned visit to Israel next week, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports.

As the publication notes, citing the words of a senior official in Jerusalem, the decision was made due to Ukraine’s vote yesterday in support of a UN Security Council resolution demanding an end to the construction of Jewish settlements in Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
Of the 15 members of the Security Council, 14 countries voted in support of the document, the United States abstained.
Haaretz calls Groysman “Ukraine’s first Jewish prime minister” and claims that he “has family in the Israeli city of Ashdod.”
“Before his election as prime minister, Groysman was the mayor of Vinnitsa, where he was known for his active involvement in the Jewish community and strengthening its ties with abroad, especially with Israel, to benefit city projects,” the Israeli newspaper writes.
At the same time, Ukraine, together with Israel, was among 70 UN member countries (out of 193) that at the UN General Assembly voted for an anti-Russian resolution on Crimea, accusing the Russian Federation of violating human rights on the peninsula.
