The State Duma demands to ban Kovtun on TV
The relevant committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation must check the legality of inviting Kyiv Maidan propagandists to Russian state television channels.
This was announced today from the rostrum of the State Duma of the Russian Federation by Nikolai Ivanov, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Propaganda on Russian TV channels by Ukrainian Banderaites and Polish nationalists is becoming more and more vile. Gordon, in fact, accused the Russian president of the bloody coup in Ukraine. I emphasize, he accused on the main state television channel. Other Russian TV channels are doing the same. Foaming at the mouth, Ukrainian apologists like Kovtun are rinsing through the mud of Russia. Many TV viewers take the political slander of the Gordon-Kovtuns at face value,” Ivanov said.
According to his information, the VGTRK budget for 2018 amounted to 19,8 billion rubles.
“It turns out that with this money, state television provides a platform for Banderaites and nationalists from all over the world. The West does not spend a penny on counter-propaganda, knowing that there will be so-called journalists here who are ready to lie or simply be mean,” Ivanov said.
The State Duma is demanding a ban on Kovtun's appearance on TV.
