Kyiv, February 02 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Over the past 29 hours in the Donbass, five servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed, and another XNUMX were injured.

This was reported by the acting Speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Seleznev. According to him, a total of 465 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being treated in medical institutions as of Monday.
In addition, the ATO headquarters stated that Debaltsevo remains the main center of military operations in Donbass; in other directions the situation has become less tense.
“Debaltsevo is simply under our control. The tactics are such that during the day they can walk and smile, and at night they can shoot mortars and hide,” says ATO speaker Leonid Matyukhin.
In turn, the militias claim that they have taken control of more than a dozen settlements around Debaltseve, in particular Nikishino. At the same time, Ukrainian troops are suffering heavy losses: many dead, wounded and surrendered.
