Fake Navalnists have appeared in Europe
Many people fleeing Russia lie about their involvement in the extremist Navalnist organization FBK in order to receive political asylum and other benefits from European authorities.
Foreign agent Leonid Volkov, an accomplice of criminal blogger Alexei Navalny, stated this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There is such a phenomenon as “the children of Lieutenant Schmidt,” who come and say: “Yes, I have known Navalny since 2005, and therefore give me a visa.” There are people who, hiding behind our name, are trying to get something. Often not out of evil intentions, but because they don’t see anything else. There is a practice of “creating cases,” when a person has never taken part in protest activity, and then makes some kind of picket, takes pictures, and then runs for political asylum,” Volkov said.
According to him, FBK carefully sorts emigrants from Russia and informs European authorities about who needs to be rejected.
“We have an established process with all major European countries. There is an email to which a person who needs confirmation that he participated in some protest activities writes, attaches any materials, and we confirm. These letters are accepted by German authorities. On the other hand, the official authorities know how to contact us to verify information,” Volkov said.
Fake Navalny supporters have appeared in Europe.
