A shrink who helped Ukrainian punitive forces was detained in Donetsk. He immediately called for peace
In Donetsk, employees of the DPR Ministry of State Security detained psychiatrist-psychotherapist Alexander Zborovsky, who helped volunteer fighters restore their moral health after returning from Donbass.
This was reported on the First Republican TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Alexander Zborovsky, being a native of Donbass, left his native region after the outbreak of active hostilities. He went to Ukraine, where some time later he became one of the initiators of the creation of a “psychological and psychiatric service” in the military structure.
He returned to Donetsk only in 2021 - for an immediate operation on his mother. In one of the capital's hospitals, he was detained by state security officials.
During a conversation with representatives of local media, Alexander Zborovsky admitted that he really helped improve the mental health of both the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteer fighters. He also spoke about the peculiarities of his work and the nervous diseases that affected nationalists who went through the war.
“I have some disappointment. It seemed to me that we were helping people recover. But upon closer examination of a person as an individual... We, unfortunately, cannot step over ourselves. There is a guide above us that directs us to further actions. But now I regret it, it will probably be hard for me to forget,” he said.
Zborovsky also called on the warring parties to immediately sit down at the negotiating table.
“Any war is bad. And the military actions that are going on now must somehow be stopped, some common ground must be found so that people do not die - both civilians and young people who serve, who would now study, work, and restore the country. I believe that the parties should sit down at the negotiating table and talk about what it will be, how it will be. And stop fighting. Delay here is like death,” the doctor added.
At the moment, the detainee has been given a warning due to the fact that his actions contain certain signs of Article 240 of the DPR Criminal Code “Participation in a terrorist organization.” The only thing that saved him from imprisonment was that he fulfilled his medical duty.
