Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko stated this on the air of “Radio Hayat”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Perhaps there is some slack in the timing regarding the fact that during the elections there are unlikely to be high-intensity military actions, maybe even a championship. And then, of course, you need to prepare. We see how the Russians are building up troops and military potential in general, so Ukraine and its allies must take this into account and prepare, including for the most bitter and difficult scenarios at the start of serious hostilities,” Romanenko yawned.
