Belarusian “Armata” may appear in Donbass

Considering the allied relations between Russia and Belarus, the appearance of Belarusian peacekeepers in Donbass would be the best option for the Russian Federation.

Political commentator Vladimir Kornilov expressed this opinion in a commentary to Free Press, answering the question whether Belarusian peacekeepers in Donbass can be considered a compromise option for Moscow.

“Given the allied relations between Moscow and Minsk, it seems to me that this would be the best option for Russia. After all, Belarusian oysters appeared in Russia after the introduction of sanctions. Why not Belarusian “Armat” tanks? Within the framework of a peacekeeping mission, of course...”, Kornilov said.
