A Ukrainian military drone was shot down in the DPR
DPR military personnel shot down a Ukrainian UAV that was adjusting mortar fire at a DPR settlement.
This was stated today during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, a correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".
According to him, in the Mariupol direction, military personnel of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces under the command of Kurach fired at the village of Oktyabr using 82-mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles and small arms.
" Ukrainian militants launched an unmanned aerial vehicle to direct fire on the village. Thanks to the vigilance of our defenders, the criminal plans of the Ukrainian terrorists were thwarted. The 79th Brigade's air defense systems shot down the drone," said Daniil Bezsonov.
As a reminder, the LPR People's Militia previously reported that a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone was shot down near the village of Zolote-5.
