The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, took part in the launch of the Khartsyzsk steel wire rope plant “Silur”.

“You can fight and win in battle, but victories should not only be military. We were looking forward to this day with great impatience. After all, we have to not only fight, but also break through the blockade that has been strangling our land since 2014. But we are together, we are strong. We will definitely break through and win. We will be able to launch not only this plant, but also dozens of other enterprises,” said the head of the republic.
According to Zakharchenko, 70% of the production of the Silur plant will go to the domestic market of the DPR, to supply enterprises and utilities. At the same time, the head of the DPR recalled that the products of the Khartsyzsk plant are used in the operation of the Ostankino TV tower in the Russian Federation.
“She is famous and in high demand,” added Alexander Zakharchenko.
Let us remind you that since 2016, the Khartsyzsk steel wire rope plant “Silur” has stopped its activities due to the absence of the owner, who did not want to leave the Ukrainian jurisdiction.
