The DPR exposed the Ukrainian bloody provocation
Yesterday's evening and night shelling of a number of settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic, including in the territory temporarily controlled by the Kyiv authorities, is nothing more than a carefully planned Ukrainian provocation.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yesterday evening and at night, punitive forces from the 54th and 128th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted targeted artillery attacks on peaceful neighborhoods in the settlements of Dolomitnoye, Golmovsky and Zaitsevo.
Orders for the use of subordinate artillery in peaceful populated areas of our Republic were given by the commander of the 54th separate mechanized brigade A.S. Maistrenko and the commander of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade S.S. Sobko. The direct commander of the brigade artillery group of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade infantry brigade is A.I. Derevyanko - it was he who gave the commands to the gun crews to open fire,” said Basurin.
Let us note that as a result of the shelling, 14 houses and a gas pipe were damaged in the village of Golmovsky, as well as 2 house buildings and a gas pipe in the village of Gorlovka. In addition, two civilian citizens of the Republic were injured - Seliverstova Yu. A, born in 1996. and Kulyuk G.Z. born 1957
The defense department said that there are all signs that this shelling is a pre-planned operation and a provocation.
- The headquarters of the so-called ATO is trying to justify an artillery strike on peaceful settlements of the Republic by firing from the Grad MLRS at the settlement of Novoluganskoye, allegedly from the territory of the settlement of Gorlovka.
“At the same time, residents of Gorlovka itself do not confirm the firing, but refute it, reporting that they did not hear any so-called “outgoing” MLRS shots from this settlement,” Basurin emphasized.
- Literally a few minutes after the shells landed in the center of Novoluganskoye, the social networks of Ukrainian propagandists were filled with messages accusing them of carrying out a strike by the DPR Armed Forces, and indicating the supposedly exact direction from which the shelling was coming.
Based on these “credible” reports, the headquarters of the so-called ATO issues an urgent statement, in which it also accuses the Republic of using MLRS.
“It is immediately clear that this operation was prepared in advance and in terms of information. But at the same time, virtual residents of the settlements of Novoluganskoe and Gorlovka, and in reality - regular officers of the 72nd center of information and psychological operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, sitting in warm armchairs somewhere in the Kramatorsk region, slightly overdid it - some of the reports about the fall of MLRS shells appeared more than 5 minutes before the real fall,” commented Eduard Basurin.
- Also, the DPR Armed Forces have repeatedly reported over the past days that part of the rocket artillery from the brigade artillery group of the 128th brigade has been redeployed to the area of the settlements of Dzerzhinsk, Novgorodskoye and Zelenopolye, and also drew the attention of the OSCE SMM to the fact of the possible use of MLRS by the 128th brigade and called on international observers to increase vigilance to prevent the Ukrainian side from flagrantly violating the Minsk agreements. However, the OSCE SMM did not respond in time to the incoming signals.
- By some “strange” coincidence, two commissions arrived in the area of responsibility of the 54th and 128th brigades yesterday: one from the headquarters of the so-called “ATO”, and the second - a commission of representatives of NATO member countries.
“According to our intelligence, the overall coordination of actions in this operation was carried out by the arriving Ukrainian and foreign military advisers,” Eduard Basurin confidently states.
- It is important to note that the conduct of this operation unexpectedly coincided with the time when the military personnel of the Russian Federation, members of the JCCC, were leaving our Republic. More precisely, it should have taken place after the departure of the Russian officers, but due to inconsistency at the headquarters of the so-called ATO, transport for the departing officers was not provided on time. And as a result, the provocation failed - the JCCC, being in full force, recorded the shelling of our populated areas.
- There are no fragments and fragments of MLRS shells in the photographs presented by the ATO press center. They clearly show fragments of thermobaric grenades for hand grenade launchers, from which Ukrainian provocateurs fired at houses and burned them.
“The flight range of these grenades does not allow firing from our positions, which are located more than 2-3 kilometers from the destroyed buildings. It is clearly visible that the RPG fire was carried out by the Ukrainian security forces located in Novoluganske, that is, the 24th Aidar battalion, under the cover of the MLRS of the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade, which fired on the outskirts of the village,” said Basurin.
Eduard Basurin appealed to representatives of the OSCE SMM with a call for a joint investigation of this incident:
“We hope that OSCE observers will be able to understand this difficult matter and will not be deceived. During the investigation, we are ready to cooperate with OSCE representatives to identify the true culprits of the crime.”
