The DPR spoke about the procedure for registering international observers at elections in the republic
The decision of the Central Election Commission of the DPR determined the procedure for registering foreign observers at the elections of the head of the republic and deputies of the People's Council.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the DPR Olga Pozdnyakova spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, she reported on the procedure adopted by the Central Election Commission today regarding the accreditation and activities of foreign observers at the early elections of the head of the DPR and deputies of the People's Council of the DPR.
“In accordance with the procedure established by current legislation, they receive permission to enter the Donetsk People’s Republic and are registered by the Central Election Commission in accordance with the procedure that was adopted today by the members of the commission. The procedure determines that in order to be accredited as a foreign election observer, a person who meets the requirements of this procedure sends to the DPR Central Election Commission an application, a copy of the received invitation and identification documents, as well as a foreign observer questionnaire of the established form,” said Olga Pozdnyakova.
At the same time, as the chairman of the CEC said, the registration procedure must be completed no later than 18:00 on November 5, 2018.
“The term of office of a foreign observer begins from the day of registration with the Central Election Commission of the DPR and ends on the day of the official publication of the results of the elections of the head of the republic and deputies of the People’s Council of the DPR. The Central Election Commission, in turn, checks the submitted documents within two working days and issues an international observer certificate,” added Pozdnyakova.
The DPR explained the procedure for registering international observers for elections in the republic.
