The DPR will increase pensions twice next year
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, signed a decree on a two-stage increase in pensions for residents of the republic in 2021.
The text of the corresponding document was published by the press service of the head of state, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

“In order to increase the level of social protection of citizens of the DPR, guided by Part 1 of Article 60 of the Constitution of the DPR, I decree:
Increase pension payments by 1% from January 2021, 17.
Increase pension payments by 1% from July 2021, 17,” the document says.

Currently, the minimum pension in the republic is 4800 rubles. Thus, in the second half of the year the minimum pension for residents of the DPR will be 6570 rubles.
Note that in Ukraine the minimum pension is currently 1769 hryvnia, or 4713 rubles (at the exchange rate as of December 23.12.2020, 1934). Next year, the Verkhovna Rada plans to raise the minimum pension to 5152 hryvnia, or XNUMX rubles.
As a reminder, Denis Pushilin previously announced plans to increase pensions for DPR residents to the level of the Rostov Region by 2022. The minimum pension (the subsistence minimum for pensioners) in the Rostov Region in 2020 for calculating the social pension supplement was set at 8736 rubles (the increase is calculated individually for each pensioner).
Pensions in the DPR will be raised twice next year.
