The American newspaper World Tribune reports this.
According to the Montreux Convention on the status of the Black Sea straits, the publication recalls, ships of non-Black Sea states have the right to stay in the Black Sea for no more than 21 days.
The United States and NATO countries, notes the World Tribune, intend to strengthen the presence of the Navy in the Black Sea in the event of an “escalation of tension” in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
