A bust of Joseph Kobzon was installed in the center of Donetsk
A memorial to the People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic Iosif Kobzon was installed on the Alley of Heroes in the Kiev district of Donetsk, next to the monument to the first head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko.
The head of the Republic, Denis Pushili, announced this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He was a special breed of man: he placed service to people (and we are not just talking about performing skills) above all else. From the very beginning of the conflict until his last days, Joseph Davydovich supported the people of Donbass, and we will always be grateful to him for this.
There is already a monument to Joseph Kobzon in Donetsk - it was erected during his lifetime as a recognition of his talent. The bust with the star of the Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic is the perpetuation of his human valor. Eternal glory to our great fellow countryman,” wrote the head of the DPR.
