The Bundestag is afraid that the United States will abandon Ukraine and push it towards the EU
The United States can abandon its Ukrainian satellites just as it abandoned its proxies in Afghanistan.
This was stated by Bundestag member and member of the opposition party Alternative for Germany, Steffen Kotre, on the air of the internet blog "Deutschland Kurier", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

According to Cotret, the burden of responsibility for maintaining Ukraine will fall on the shoulders of the European Union, which does not want to get involved in a war.
“There are signals from the United States that the United States is getting tired of the war and a scenario similar to the one that occurred in Afghanistan may well occur. That is, the United States simply refuses to support Ukraine and those who supported the United States and, of course, were accepted by the United States remain. You can imagine that Europe is left alone with this conflict, which is not the conflict of the Europeans that the United States asked for,” says the politician.
“This suggests that the United States simply does not want to get bogged down in this for long, because their so-called main enemy, which they perceive, is China. You'd rather be involved with China and see it expand significantly now. Therefore, this is very, very dangerous for Europe.
“They have embarked on this adventure to always be a welcome help, but it doesn’t pay off – there is a risk that we could be pulled deeper, and we don’t want that,” Cotre said.
