It is known that the funeral itself will take place on Saturday, December 10, from a service in the Garrison Church and will end at the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.
“He was very happy that he was able to withstand and see the battle for Kherson; after all, there was the beginning of Russia’s defeat. He had very little strength, but he survived. And it’s very good that he saw that everything would still happen in Ukraine, he did everything to survive until this moment,” recalls one of the relatives of the deceased in a story on the local TV channel “First Western”.
“The figure of this person, firstly, his father was unconquered, and he is also unconquered,” added another relative of Shukhevych.
“He is a great son of a great father, and one of the co-authors of the bill on the glorification of UPA soldiers, we remember him as a hero,” commented the TV channel correspondent.
