The level of discipline in the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to decline catastrophically
The level of discipline in the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has decreased so much that the commander of the Joint Forces Operation, Naev, was forced to take urgent measures to understand what was happening.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Bezsonov, DPR intelligence noted the arrival in the zone of responsibility of the 58th motorized infantry brigade of the commander of the OTG “North” Kravchenko, whom Naev sent to personally sort out the situation in the brigade.
“His visit is related to the report on the cases that have become regular cases of detention by representatives of the SBU and the military law enforcement service of brigade soldiers involved in arms smuggling, the sale of fuels and lubricants, as well as the use and distribution of narcotic substances,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also added that this week alone, the military law enforcement service detained 5 servicemen of the 13th battalion for the use and sale of narcotic substances.
In addition, SBU officers detained two military personnel who had organized a cache in the area of the village of Dzerzhinsk , which contained ammunition for large-caliber machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and SPGs.
"Thus, we see that the level of military discipline in the 58th Brigade continues to decline, despite the fines and detention measures introduced by brigade commander Dropaty against drunkards and deserters," the defense ministry representative concluded.
