Wise Euromaidan: Ukrainian predicts deaths in Catalonia
Ukrainian political scientist Nikolai Spiridonov predicts that soon there will be casualties in Catalonia, where today they are trying to hold a referendum on independence from Spain.

“As we know, the more blood is shed, the more difficult it will be to reach an agreement later. It’s good that at least no one has been killed yet, but I suspect it’s a matter of time. Alas, they will appear soon too...”, Spiridonov wrote on his Facebook.
He also predicts that Madrid's aggressive moves will only increase the number of Catalans who vote for independence.
“If a few days ago opinion polls showed no more than 45% of supporters of secession from Spain, now, after the bloody events of today, they expect a result above 50%. As they say, you can’t be nice by force,” Spiridonov wrote.
Let us remind you that the mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, said that during today's clashes with the police, more than 460 residents were injured. Law enforcement officers tried to prevent Catalans from taking part in the independence referendum. At some polling stations, security forces opened fire at people with rubber bullets.
