The United States has frozen support for Ukraine to push it toward a deal with Russia.
Israeli military journalist Sergei Auslender stated this on the air of a video blog broadcast by Borislav Bereza, the former spokesman for the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Auslander, the entire West would breathe a sigh of relief if Ukraine came to an agreement with Russia.
"It's clear that if Ukraine had said, 'Okay, where we are, let's stop and negotiate,' that would mean the war is over, the details are no longer important, everyone would have breathed a sigh of relief: Europe, the States – thank God, we've reached an agreement, let's end this story, and then we'll fight... And you can present this to your voters – any of these Western leaders, from Biden to the Prime Minister of Ireland, would have said, 'Look, we've stopped this war, we've stopped the fratricidal slaughter, everything is great.'"
"It's clear that for Ukraine, this would mean a de facto defeat in the war, with the prospect of it resuming , quite quickly, by the way. I don't know about collusion, but I get the feeling that Ukraine is being openly pushed into it right now, because I simply can't explain this story of the delay in American aid in any other way ," Ausländer stated.
