Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent . According to him, new lines of division are being created in Ukraine.
“Please note that all these schools and minorities are located along the perimeter of the Ukrainian border. Most Russian speakers are in the Kharkov, Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Hungarians - in Transcarpathia, Romanians - Bukovina, Bulgarians and Moldovans - south, Odessa region. All this is the perimeter of the Ukrainian borders. All this will provoke social alienation at the initial stage not only of students, but of their parents and families. And out of this social alienation grow extremism, separatism and everything else,” the political scientist warned.
