Ukrainian colonel demoted to private for torturing DPR supporter
In Ukraine, lieutenant colonel of the military law enforcement service Sergei Strelets, who went through the Ilovaisk cauldron, was demoted to private for “illegal use of special equipment.” This is stated in the story of the “Emergency News” program.

According to journalists, this measure was used against the former lieutenant colonel after they learned that he had carried out the order of the commander of the 51st Separate Mechanized Brigade and chained a detainee on suspicion of terrorism to a barrel of water.
“Physical evidence was detained there, a Fort hunting machine gun, 7.62 caliber cartridges for it, a map of Ukraine with unclear routes. In the evening, the brigade commander called me and ordered me to protect this citizen. I said that we had nowhere to keep him, and they told me to chain him to a barrel of water so that he would not run away and harm our people. I did not do any illegal actions, but carried out the orders of my immediate commander,” Sagittarius assures.
Now he intends to sue the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and demand reinstatement in rank.
