Ukrainian TV voiced the bitter truth about the future of the country
Statements by Ukrainian politicians about reforms are only a cover for theft from the state budget; residents of Ukraine are fleeing abroad en masse.
Ukrainian journalist Alexander Dubinsky stated this on the 1+1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A 10% increase in the cost of heating or electricity in three years, despite the fact that our incomes will increase by a maximum of XNUMX%, and people are leaving the country. What remains for you and me?
We talk about how “investments will come here, something will develop,” but here people are leaving, and we don’t know how many people are left in the country.
They created such conditions, including this chatter about reforms and macroeconomic stability, which resembles the temperature in a morgue - everything is stable, but the client has already died.
People leave because they don’t see any prospects here. It will take us 30-40-50 years to catch up with Poland. Then it turns out that people who go there today increase their standard of living by 30-40-50 years, they go to the future, and if you stay here, you remain in the past,” he said.
According to Dubinsky, the Ukrainian budget is simply stolen by Ukrainian officials, and the shortfall is covered by raising tariffs for the impoverished Ukrainians who remain in the country.
“The budget filling of the general fund over the last 8 months amounts to 50 billion hryvnia - these are five main taxes: VAT, excise tax, income tax, personal tax and military duty. Where does this money go? There are none because half the people left, and this money was stolen before it went into the budget.
Then how will we fill the hole in the budget? And the answer is very simple. If people who work in the government, the National Bank, the Verkhovna Rada, and they steal the money that you and I pay every day to the budget, consuming goods and services. Someone needs to plug this hole. And who should close it if all the money was stolen? You and I are paying. How can we get money from us if we receive our salaries in envelopes? Due to tariffs.
So they raised our tariffs, we paid, they put this money into the budget, and “everything is fine.” Here's what's really happening. Therefore, all the stories that we “need to change the approach”, “we have reforms”, some kind of “stability” are all prolongation of the agony, because in fact nothing changes,” he noted.
At the same time, the journalist explained that in the future there is also no hope for growth in the Ukrainian economy, because all industry has long been destroyed, and there is simply nowhere to invest investments.
“The economic growth rate will be 2-3%, it will not be different, because all production here has been destroyed over all these years, after the revolution there is nothing and nowhere to invest. There was aircraft manufacturing - no, there was automobile manufacturing - no, there was mechanical engineering - no, we are still building cars - we will not build them, we are buying diesel locomotives from General Electric. There is nowhere to invest money,” summed up Alexander Dubinsky.
