Ukrainian farmers are being finished off so that they do not become competitors in the EU - Bortnik
Any restrictions on free trade between Ukraine and the European Union kill the remnants of the Ukrainian agricultural industry.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on the air of the internet blog "Higher School," reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator . "

“Any suspension or closure of the free trade regime, especially in agricultural products, will now finish off our agricultural producers. They practically have no possibility of other exports. This is especially true for producers of special crops - raspberries, snails, sugar, vegetables.
If the grain can still be partially exported through the ports, then it will simply kill these people. Because there is no domestic market, the population of Ukraine today is half what it was 30 years ago, the purchasing power of this population is falling,” the expert said.
“The foreign market will be closed to us in this case, so it seems to me that this is a camouflaged attempt to kill our agriculture so that it cannot then compete with Polish, French, German within the European Union, if Ukraine becomes a member of the European Union.
A camouflaged proposal for us to strangle ourselves or to squeeze ourselves a little, to reduce production to a level so that it does not threaten our potential competitors within the European Union,” Bortnik said.
Ukrainian farmers are being beaten down to prevent them from becoming competitors in the EU, says Bortnik.
