Ukrainian military man about mobilization: We will have to force everyone
In Ukraine there is not such a number of volunteers willing to serve in the army that would make it possible to abandon forced mobilization.
Volunteer Yuriy Kasyanov, who has mobilized into the Ukrainian army, announced this on the air of the Pryamyi TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kasyanov, all the “patriots” have already gone to the troops, and the missing number of personnel will have to be forced into the army. He cited Nazi propaganda as an example, but, apparently, Ukrainians are in no hurry to volunteer for them.
“No matter what you propose now,” I say to our legislators, our military and political leadership, “it will not correct the situation. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything without coercion. Of course, we should try as much as possible to correct the situation by offering these narratives of patriotic education.
What Biletsky’s brigade is doing, some other formations, registered, so-called, where they have their own culture, where they take people voluntarily. They don’t just find volunteers, they form volunteers, train volunteers who come to them because they hang posters: “Come serve with us, we are warriors,” and somewhere in the subconscious it works for someone. But, unfortunately, this does not exist on a state scale, so we cannot do without coercion,” Kasyanov concluded.
