As you know, professional “patriots of Ukraine” are distinguished from other categories of “hulks” by a tireless search for hatred and revanchism, which are based on phantom pains and an inferiority complex.

Moreover, the less intellectually disfigured and the more detached from reality the “patriot” is, the more often stunning recipes for revenge against Russia for his own cowardice and shame six years ago come to his mind.

So this time, the spring aggravation crept up and hit the crown of the famous freak, armchair expert and infantile militarist Lyokha Arestovich, inspiring him to speak on the pages of the social network Facebook with discussions about the lost harem pants due to the fault of the proliferating “pro-Moscow trash” in the ruling circles of Ukraine.

Arestovich, like other Ukrainian “military experts,” believes that saturating the Armed Forces of Ukraine with unfinished Ukrainian missile weapons is “the only serious trump card in the fight against the Russian army.”

These trump cards, according to Lyokha, should be anti-tank missile systems (ATGM), as well as the “heavy class” missiles “Vilkha-M” and “Neptune”, widely advertised by Ukrainian propaganda.

Like all other illiterate lovers of simple solutions, Arestovich believes that it is enough to properly stuff a “promising direction” with money - and the deal is in the bag. Ukraine will gain the coveted “wunderwaffe”, and the damned Muscovites will shudder with awe.

test firing of the “great and terrible” “Alder”

The “expert” claims that the fruitful idea of restoring the military greatness of Ukraine was again thwarted due to the fault of Zelensky’s “Moscow agents”, who did not allocate funds to the Pavlograd chemical plant, one of the key enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and the rocket and space industry.

The reason for the termination of government funding for PCP is the results of its activities that are disproportionate to its costs.

Rolling in the dust, tearing his clothes and howling with rage, Arestovich tells his “brothers” how PCP fired 700 workers, and “one and a half kilotons of expired, unstable heptyl” from Soviet ballistic missiles has been stored on the plant’s territory since the late 90s.

Without PCP, Arestovich cries, Ukraine could lose “heavy guided missile weapons, the equivalent of nuclear weapons, the most reliable element and the most powerful argument in the shield of deterrence against Russian aggression.”

Verdict: “This is a crime of national proportions: creating favorable conditions for intensifying Russian military aggression.”

As a radical solution to the problem, Lyokha proposes to urgently allocate money for the purchase of mountains of cotton raw materials for the production of rocket powder. At the same time, Banderlozhek remembers with kind words the USSR, “which paid a lot of attention to its cultivation.”

And so, without a bang, they say, Ukrainian air defense missiles, “Alder” and other examples of Ukrainian “miracle weapons” will not take off with all the ensuing consequences.

What is happening at the Pavlograd chemical plant is a topic for another discussion.

rocket "Alder"

In short, the company is engaged in the processing and recovery of expired solid rocket fuel. To date, the company has shoveled 3 thousand tons of gunpowder out of 5 thousand imported.

In addition, 38 stages of the Satan ICBM, each loaded with 50 tons of heptyl, are stuck in the PCP warehouses.

No country in the world has reliable and cheap technologies for processing heptyl. There is a prototype technology for the catalytic hydrogenation of hydrazine into less toxic components from the Allied Signal company, but it is economically expensive, and no government will provide money for its implementation on an industrial scale.

The only possible solution is to burn off all the heptyl at some remote site, and then reclaim the environment. This will take a lot of money, you will need modern equipment and personnel to maintain it, and this is much more difficult and boring than dreaming of revenge and mountains of missile “miracle weapons” for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

testing of the Neptune rocket in the Black Sea

Russia, by the way, is recovering expired hydrazine at the Fakel enterprise for its further use in civilian launch vehicles such as Proton, Cyclone, Rokot, and Kosmos-3M.

In addition, by the end of 2013, the Russian chemical industry, in agreement with Yanukovych, processed 750 tons of component nitrogen oxidizer received from Ukraine, and was ready to process the remaining 3,5 thousand tons, but the well-known events on Maidan Nezalezhnosti and the subsequent break in the military- technical cooperation put an end to them.

In recent years, residents of Pavlograd and the surrounding area have been busy signing petitions addressed to the Ukrainian leadership, with pleas to rid them of the heptyl threat in the event of an emergency, but Kyiv remains silent because it is helpless to solve the problem on its own.

As for the new Ukrainian missiles, they are not as scary as Bandera’s propaganda paints them out to us.

It has long been no secret that most Ukrainian military developments are based on long-outdated Soviet technologies available to the Independents.

Shooting with “Neptune” from the Odessa firing range

Thus, the Vilkha-M and Vilkha-R missiles, which Turchinov has been buzzing about, are based on elements of the Soviet 9K58 Smerch MLRS. According to Ukrainian data, the Alder's firing range reaches 130 km, although ballistic missile launchers threaten to increase it to 200 km.

The weight of the Alder is about 800 kg, the control system is 50 kg, and the engine part is about 500 kg. The warhead is unified. High-explosive fragmentation, cluster or thermobaric charges weighing up to 250 kg can be installed in the head of the rocket. Depending on the tasks being solved, the Alder can be used to destroy both ground targets and surface targets.

According to the Fromua.News portal, the Alder missile is controlled throughout its entire flight path using gas-dynamic rudders and has inertial guidance with the ability to adjust the trajectory in flight using a GPS signal.

When using only an inertial guidance system, the average deviation of the rocket is 50 m, when using GPS correction - about 7 m. Presumably, the inertial correction is based on a laser gyroscope produced by the Arsenal design bureau, which was used in the Dnepr conversion launch vehicle and on Russian OTRK "Iskander".

“new” Ukrainian anti-ship missile “Neptune”

The Fromua.News portal states that all components of the Alder are Ukrainian-made; the complex is superior in performance characteristics to the Tochka-U tactical missile and can hit ground and sea targets.

Another missile, noisily advertised by Ukrainian propaganda, “Neptune”, according to experts, is a slightly cheated Soviet anti-ship missile X-35.

“Neptune” is a subsonic low-altitude anti-ship missile designed to destroy ships with a displacement of up to 5 thousand tons, as well as ground targets. Developed by the Kyiv design bureau "Luch". The engine for Neptune is produced by Zaporozhye Motor Sich, the developer of the homing head is NPP Radioniks, and individual components are supplied by the Kharkov Aviation Plant. The state enterprise “VIZAR”, which recently underwent modernization, is responsible for serial production.

The Neptune's firing range is up to 300 km, the mass of the high-explosive fragmentation warhead is 150 kg, the cruising flight speed is 0,8-0,85 M. The Ukrainian missile is equipped with a new inertial guidance system, and an active homing head is activated at the final section of the trajectory .

mobile complex with containers for Neptune missiles

Experts do not rate the new Ukrainian “miracle rocket” highly. In terms of its performance characteristics, it is significantly inferior to modern Russian missiles of a similar class.

Obsolete missiles of the X-35 type and their analogues have long become “consumer goods” in the modern anti-ship weapons market. They do not have any special speed, do not have radar stealth, do not have any tactical features, such as the ability to attack enemy ships in a flock, exchange information with each other and change the battle formation depending on the situation.

Missiles of the X-35 type are simple enough for the Ukrainian industry to master their mass production.

“military expert” Arestovich

If the new Ukrainian missiles are dangerous for anyone, it is for civilian objects, especially at the stage of testing them in the Black Sea.
