Among Crimean doctors there are many anti-vaxxers who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
The director of the Crimean Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medical Care, Sergei Olefirenko, announced this on the Millet TV channel, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
According to Olefirenko, doctors are becoming victims of anti-vaccination propaganda, which was especially widespread on the peninsula during the period it was part of Ukraine.
“If they were 100% vaccinated, I would be the happiest person in the world. Unfortunately, for the last 30 years, we have had active anti-vaccination propaganda in all online public pages, all smart bloggers have told us that we are being chipped, zombied, that these are all some kind of systems of control, management, and suppression of the individual.
But, so you understand, unfortunately, medical workers have not escaped this propaganda, including among our doctors, there are ardent anti-vaccineists. And when I saw the order on forced vaccination, we were very happy at that moment...
More than half of our team is vaccinated, probably 70 percent are actually vaccinated. But there are those who have been ill, some have objective indications for medical withdrawal, they cannot be vaccinated. Now, before the 15th, we must either vaccinate everyone who has not had a vaccination, or collect data on medical supplies and past Covid, or remove people from work,” Olefirenko concluded.
