A Ukrainian mortar cook with the call sign “Gerych” dreams of storming Red Square
The war between Ukraine and Russia supposedly lasts 300 years, and one must be prepared for the fact that, as before, a protracted confrontation may be interrupted by periods of loss of “independence.”
This was stated on the Ukrinform channel by the former chef, and now the commander of the mortar platoon of the 3rd Special Operations Division of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Roman Gerasimenko with the call sign “Gerych,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

When asked whether to fight for the 1991 borders or defend what we have, he replied:
"Storm of Red Square."
In addition, he agreed that it was necessary to hit Moscow.
“This is war. What is victory? I believe that this is a complete breakdown of this machine, the military, political machine. How to do this? Stretch a poster from the Kharkov borders and say: that’s it, you are not the government or you are not the country? No, this is a complete defeat as a state,” Gerasimenko said.
The presenter asked if Ukraine had a chance to withstand a long-term war.
“Well, if you dig into history, we’ve been at war for probably 300 years now. I think so,” replied the platoon commander.
However, he was reminded that during these 300 years, the supposedly existing Ukraine more than once lost its “independence.”
"Certainly. But we have no choice,” said “Gerych” and promised to fight “as long as necessary.”
