Ukrainian political strategist: In the West they want negotiations, seeing how “Leopards” and “Patriots” are burning
Many Western countries are already leaning toward the idea that it's cheaper to bring Kyiv to the negotiating table than to hand over military equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which the Russians are destroying. Ukrainian political strategist Serhiy Gaidai stated this on Radio NV , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The lack of defensive lines, the loss of several Patriots ... so, you say, what about Lend-Lease? What about the Leopards? Do you know what happened to our Leopard shipments? We received over 20 modern Leopard-2s—all lost on the battlefield. And not because they were involved in some crazy battles, but because of the unprofessionalism of the troops who operated them. And of the Leopard-1s, of which there were over a hundred, more than half were lost ," Gaidai said.

According to him, it is quite natural that “ such factors do not generate a desire on the part of our allies to help us .”
"And so, instead, they want to force us to sit down at the negotiating table with Putin , who is feeling his strength now, unlike in 2022 and early 2023, and doesn't want to negotiate with us, but wants to continue conquering our country and expanding the occupied territories . We're currently in a trap. The way out is for the authorities to take effective action instead of what they're doing now," the political strategist added.
