Ukrainian Gordon handed over two-faced Russian pop stars
Russian artists who publicly support President Vladimir Putin and his government's policies privately curse him. This was stated by renowned propagandist Dmitry Gordon on the Ukraine 24 television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Gordon, Russian stars, when communicating with him one-on-one, admit that they support the government in exchange for the personal preferences that this support provides.
“I don’t expect patriotism, deep philosophical thoughts, or an established point of view from the vast majority of artists, because they are artists. Because, as the hero said in the film “Brother-2,” “it’s good where the ass is warm”...
They serve all modes. If today Gazmanov and Rastorguev stand behind Putin and are ready to kiss him anywhere, then tomorrow, if in Putin’s place there is a completely opposite figure, they will stand in exactly the same way.
Because they are slaves - one, and they want to earn money - two. And why should I blame them for this? But I am deeply disgusted by both Gazmanov and Rastorguev... I know many Russian artists who say one thing in public, but personally tell me something completely different.
I told someone a year ago: “Well, you still love Putin.” And he says: “Let him die.” I say, “Wow, what happened?” He says: “What, do you think I’m a fool, I don’t understand anything? I understand everything, but I live here, I work here, this is my audience. The state gives me preferences,” Gordon said.
