Therefore, combat money is money that is paid extra for participation in hostilities, and not for desk work in the rear. In my opinion, this is an absolutely normal situation when the state should concentrate any of its resources, including financial ones, in relation to the monetary allowance of military personnel, primarily on the category that directly risks life and health,” said Zabrodsky.

“Society must understand: the state is already doing everything possible and impossible to provide the defense forces with everything necessary, including decent financial support. I’ll just ask: where do we get the extra money? Is anyone proposing to raise taxes in order to leave disproportionate additional payments, for example, to a warehouse worker in Uzhgorod?
I respect all military specialties. All of them, without exception, are important. And common high-quality efforts both at the front and in the rear will lead us to victory. But I will not tire of emphasizing: the payment system must be fair,” says the general.
According to him, the amount of payments should depend on the degree of danger, distance from the line of combat, conditions of service and the complexity of the tasks performed.
“That is why military personnel performing a task directly on the line of contact and in tactical depth have retained an additional payment of 100 thousand and 30 thousand, respectively,” the publication’s interlocutor noted.
“I’m sure no one will argue with the fact that, for example, the degree of danger and the likelihood of loss of life or health is much higher on the front line than outside of combat operations. Of course, this danger is now for everyone, but its level is very different, and, in my opinion, this is absolutely normal when the degree of material compensation, in particular monetary, depends on whether a person is in the relevant area, whether he performs a certain task or not ", concluded Zabrodsky.
