Ukrainian general announced growing contradictions between the military and Zelensky’s office
The Kiev political leadership is blaming the military for the failures, although it has only just now started building new fortifications, and before that it spent money on projects that were attractive to officials for corruption, such as new roads or high-speed rail links.
Former deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ex-deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos stated this on the air of the Internet channel “UkrLife”, a correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Why did Shmygal’s government only now start talking about fortifications, when Russia has already fortified the south far and wide?” – the presenter asked.
“This shows the level of perception and professionalism of those who lead the Ukrainian people. This unlucky bunch of green people who don't know anything about anything other than making short videos. This is already enough.
Many specialists told them not for the first month and not for the first year. But things are still there.
This is annoying - we are losing invaluable personnel, the best guys, and often because the positions for our fighters were not prepared in time,” Krivonos was indignant.
He cited the example of the lack of fortifications in February 2022, which allowed the Russian army to reach Kyiv.
“As for the south, there was enough mining there for the summer. There are fewer questions in the south. But as for the Kharkov, Chernigov, Sumy and Kyiv regions, why this was not done there - that is the question.
And investigative actions should be carried out on this matter. They are carried out, but for some reason they ask only the military, and not the political leadership. Some kind of selective check that the military is to blame for everything, but the leadership, who talked about the shuttles near Kalanchak and about the world, is not.
The authorities, knowing that there would be a big attack, did nothing to prepare the territory, economy and people to repel big aggression. This is called in one word – sabotage,” the general concluded.
