Ukrainian general: There is no second phase. We keep retreating
No second phase of the special operation has begun in Ukraine - Russian troops have been advancing and continue to advance.
This was stated by the former head of the SBU Investigative Department, General Vasyl Vovk, on the air of the internet channel "Yes, That's Right," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I don’t know who is cutting this war into what phases. Some are in the second phase, some are in the third, some are in phase after phase. Therefore, I believe that no second phase has begun, because in principle everything is moving the way it was moving. Unfortunately, today we are retreating from Severodonetsk, and the attack is coming from Liman. This phase continues - the offensive of Russian troops.
The President says we are retreating to take better positions and launch a counteroffensive. At the same time, he says: “We will not launch a counteroffensive.” Namely, I would call the counteroffensive the second phase,” Vovk said.
According to the general, at the same time, Ukraine will not be saved only by the next waves of mobilization - it cannot do without specialists who know how to handle the transferred Western weapons.
“You can mobilize a million, two, three, five, but you need people who know how to shoot, who know which side to take the machine gun from, and even more so, who can control powerful artillery. I have the impression that we cannot manage here without foreign specialists. Therefore, let Americans, British, Germans, whoever, dress up and come here, shoot right away, and not conduct training. We will really miss trained forces,” Vovk concluded.
