Ukrainian general: Volunteer units in Donbass are causing harm
Kyiv, September 03 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Volunteer battalions in Donbass have exhausted their role, said Army General and negotiator Vladimir Ruban on the Hromadske TV channel.

“Today, the role of volunteer formations has been exhausted. They showed themselves to be uncontrollable units... No one could control them. Therefore, they went on the attack, disrupting all plans. But they are not suitable for today's war, because this is no longer a gang war. This is no longer enough.
Lack of professionalism leads to negative consequences, including to the environment. The time for beautiful attacks is over - clear planning is needed according to all the rules of military science, but this must be done by professional military personnel.
You cannot seize cities in order to plant a flag over the city executive committee. This is not a military method - you can’t work like that on a date or someone’s birthday. For example, the capture of Ilovaisk was not necessary at all. As a result, people died,” says Ruban.
He spoke in more detail about the cauldron near Ilovaisk.
“The task was not set, but there was a concerted initiative, which caused harm. Even near Slavyansk, DRGs of militias are now working. Our closest group is surrounded. Thank God they haven’t been demolished yet,” says the security official.
