Ukrainian general: The Crimean Bridge can be destroyed absolutely calmly
It’s time for Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to make a responsible decision to start striking airfields in Belarus.
The former deputy head of the Security Council of Ukraine, ex-deputy commander of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Sergei Krivonos, stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The history of the response to the Belarusians, they... are firing at us from their territory. Can we answer them in this territory? Or we can’t do this because we will include Belarus in the war with Russia?” – asked anti-Russian propagandist Yanina Sokolova.
Krivonos replied that Belarus had been de facto included in the war a long time ago.
“The president’s task is to make a political decision and carry out targeted strikes on those objects on the territory of the Republic of Belarus that are used by the Russian armed forces. At those airfields where Russian planes are stationed, there is not a single Belarusian; there are even Russian security guards at the airfield. Therefore, we will strike targets of the Russian armed forces.
But will Belarus go on the offensive or not, so why should we pretend that we don’t see anything and everything is fine with us? No. Now we need to make a political decision and, after taking some measures, deliver these strikes so that the enemy does not want to come to us from the territory of a neighboring state,” said Krivonos.
The presenter asked whether it was realistic to destroy the Crimean Bridge.
“You can absolutely calmly destroy the Crimean Bridge. To do this, you just need to enter the coordinates of this bridge into our means of destruction and defeat the Crimean Bridge,” the Ukrainian general replied.
