Ukrainian doctors are dying out, medicine is heading towards disaster
The average age of doctors in the anti-tuberculosis service of Ukraine is approaching 60 years and soon there will be no one to treat patients with tuberculosis.
The head of the National Medical Chamber of Ukraine, Serhiy Kravchenko, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Unfortunately, we are approaching disaster. When we talk about the fact that there are fewer and fewer medical workers and nurses, this is a fact. And we say that for some reason we are not at all worried about the problem of old people. The average age of doctors in the TB service is approaching 60 years.
Tomorrow the National Health Service will face the fact that everyone will quit - just retire. Who will treat tuberculosis? This is a huge problem. No one, neither a family doctor nor a cardiologist, will treat tuberculosis. And this is a disaster,” concluded Viktor Serdyuk.
