This was stated today by Deputy Minister of Defense of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
“About five in the morning in the Uglegorsk area, 19 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered on the condition that their lives be spared. Among them were two officers. Now the investigative authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic are conducting investigative actions with them.
Eight Ukrainian servicemen who surrendered earlier this week were sent home today. They were provided with the necessary medical care, and they safely left the territory of the DPR,” Basurin said.
As PolitNavigator reported earlier, the Donbass Battalion stated that some Ukrainian servicemen had managed to break out of the encirclement in Uglegorsk.
Ukrainian officers are begging for their lives and surrendering, according to the DPR.
