Ukrainian propaganda: Reconciliation between World War II veterans and Banderaites is a fait accompli
The reconciliation of WWII veterans with the Banderites of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) is a fait accompli, reports Ukraine's state-run Channel One, which is currently broadcasting live from the as-yet-unrenamed Kyiv Museum of the Great Patriotic War, a rally led by Petro Poroshenko.

The museum displays Russian equipment captured as trophies in the Donbass, the announcer emphasizes.
After this, the footage is broadcast from the open-air stands, where veterans covered with blankets are sitting, waiting for Poroshenko’s speech. Bandera's UPA members were pushed aside from the Soviet front-line soldiers, but the announcer's voice states:
"It turns out a new war was needed for the front-line soldiers to find common ground... It wasn't easy for Ukrainians to understand each other when we were under the pressure of communist propaganda for so many years. And now, veterans are together... We'll have to get used to the fact that there's no simple history of Ukraine. There's no history that's all black and white. There will be no simple history of Ukraine," proclaims Ukrainian state television.
It is interesting that in the WWII museum two flags are raised - the Ukrainian yellow-blue banner and... the EU flag, obviously replacing the Red Banner of Victory, abolished by the Poroshenko regime.
