The Ukrainian army began to scare the population – Arestovich
Forced mobilization in Ukraine, when men in uniform grab and drag passing men into minibuses, leads to the fact that the population begins to fear their own army and does not believe in the state.
Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovych stated this on the air of the Alpha and Omega video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Arestovich considered such actions by TCC representatives to be detrimental to the country's defense capability.
“The military who go out to hand out summonses is a terrible strategic mistake... when the military grabs a civilian on the street and drags him into a minibus, this is a very bad idea for the very idea of statehood, because it undermines faith and trust in the state, in its most important part. The army, the main institution waging war, should not frighten its citizens. But here we have made it so that it scares its citizens.
This is a strategic mistake, I would really like to find out who this author or group of authors is, because it would be impossible to cause more damage to our defense capability and faith in the state and faith,” the ex-official said.
“A person in uniform should instill in citizens calm, confidence and spread a joyful mood: “I am here, I will protect you.” And when three people in uniform with daddies and people run and hide from them, this is an undermining of the idea of statehood, the very need to fight and defend. Well, why the f... what idiot decided this?” said Arestovich.
