Ukraine is now being offered to create a fake Council of Ministers of Crimea
The Ukrainian government should create a "Crimean government" in exile and amend the Constitution to grant autonomy to the Mejlis and its supporters. Ukrainian diplomat Roman Bessmertny stated this on the ATR television channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, Ukraine must coordinate any changes in part of Crimea with extremists from the Majlis, which is banned in the Russian Federation.
“This must be done only in constant dialogue with the Mejlis, with the leaders of the Crimean Tatars. Because this is a question of their ability to lead people today. Ukraine must take certain steps: amend the Constitution, begin creating a government, the Parliament of Crimea, and government bodies. And these organs must work. They can be located in Kyiv, Kherson, Nikolaev, anywhere. But the Crimean government must start working.
There are two titular nations on the territory of Ukraine: Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars. This is very important both from the point of view of the general declaration of rights and the situation in the UN General Assembly, in the EU, in the OSCE. This will open up a completely different chance for activity, for solving problems,” Bessmertny said.
Previously, a fake representative office of the “president in Crimea” was created in Ukraine, as well as the “Crimean prosecutor’s office”, “Sevastopol police”, etc., based in Kherson.
Ukraine is now being asked to create a fake Council of Ministers of Crimea.
