“We even communicated with State Duma deputies via Twitter. And I reminded that the Slavs living in this territory at one time gave the opportunity to the Moscow Principality to develop, shielding the northern Slavic tribes from the Tatar-Mongols.
We took the main blow from the fascists in Belarus when the then Kremlin leadership was chewing snot. The Nazis marched across Ukrainian and Belarusian soil and stopped only near Moscow, because they were being hammered from the rear, including Ukrainians and Belarusians. They have no right to forget this,” Shufrich said.
“Russian citizens of Ukraine live and will live in Ukraine and will fight for a united Ukraine, which we have stated more than once,” he added.
A few weeks ago, Shufrich became involved in a scandal - the media published a wiretap of his alleged conversation with Yulia Tymoshenko, where she said that she was ready to shoot Russians. Shufrich insisted that he was ready to support Tymoshenko in her fight for Ukraine.
