Ukrainians denied Donbass the right to a free economic zone
The creation of a free economic zone in Donbass is supported by only a third of Ukrainian citizens.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by KIIS, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Thus, 45,3% are against the creation of a free economic zone in Donbass, while 33,5% of respondents support it.
The level of support for this idea increases from west to east from 27% to 46%.

It is noteworthy that the item on the creation of a free economic zone in Donbass appears in a consultative survey, which, at the initiative of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, will be held in parallel with the local elections on October 25.
The KIIS study took place on October 17–19. A total of 505 respondents over 18 years of age who live throughout Ukraine, except Crimea and the LDPR, were interviewed.
