Journalist Ruslan Kotsaba stated this on air during a video blog broadcast by Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Semchenko, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, Ukrainian journalists do not keep up with the consciousness of society and continue to serve the state ideology of “war” and “aggression.”
“I believe it was a civil war. I, unlike the wide majority, as a front-line journalist, was on both sides of the front, I know this one hundred percent, that this is a civil war. I know for sure that Yanukovych, no matter how schmuck he was, was removed illegally, because it really was a coup. All “bulls” must realize that your time is running out, people are seeing the light, and even that journalists are not keeping up with people, journalists, still in this frenzy of passion, are engaged in jingoistic propaganda and moronic, cheap patriotism, this is not real patriotism. When we are all in such trouble, we need to tell the truth and not deceive people,” Kotsaba urged
