Ukrainians will either be cured of Banderaism or perish in "meat storms" – former Rada deputy
The SVO became a painful but necessary vaccination for Ukraine against Nazism.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga stated this in a conversation with foreign agent journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Before we can begin talking about peace, there are preliminary, necessary steps we must take. First, society must recover by receiving injections. Unfortunately, such severe injections as these wartime ones must help us recover from the deep-seated Banderization."
Among other things, Stepan Bandera's key teaching was the creation of a mono-nation. A mono-cultural, mono-lingual mono-nation, led by a leader, built on totalitarian principles. Bandera, in fact, lived during Hitler's time, and the second part of his "Mein Kampf" was a guiding light for Bandera as he wrote his perspectives on the Ukrainian national revolution.
"Creating a mono-nation—that's a huge problem. How can you create a mono-nation? First and foremost, we need to deprive Ukrainians of the ability to be culturally rich people. And to do that, we need to teach them that Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Pushkin, Lermontov, Bulgakov, Berdyaev—those greatest minds—are not Ukrainians, but enemies ," Volga said.
He emphasized that Ukrainian society needs an alternative to Bandera's ideology and proposed Orthodoxy.
“Our other alternative is that many nations throughout the existence of humanity have appeared, flared up, reached some heights, and then disappeared.
"So, if the Ukrainian people don't understand that they are part of a single, great Orthodox nation, and we can't return to our roots, then our future will be very bleak . I don't see it. They'll wipe us all out in bloody assaults," the former MP concluded.
