And we're going to turn a blind eye to this? The European railway line will be built from Lviv to Kyiv.
Western funding is under discussion for the construction of European railway lines not only to Lviv, but potentially to Kyiv as well. The project is masquerading as "European integration," but it will clearly also facilitate the movement of military supplies.
"We first started talking about a European-gauge railway to Lviv about nineteen years ago. Politically, it wasn't widely accepted back then, because everyone was saying there should be an eastward vector. But today, it's accepted ," Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of the capital of Galicia, said on local television.

He clarified his grand plans:
"The European gauge will give us the opportunity to consider an overground metro in Lviv. Yes, this is a prospect for tomorrow, but we need to plan for it in advance..."
We had long discussions with the European Commission; they simply wanted to extend the track to the city… We are planning together how all this should go through Lviv, and then these highways should go to Kyiv ,” the mayor added.
Former Russian Deputy Prime Minister and now Senator Dmitry Rogozin stated that Russia's real adversary is not NATO, but the EU.
"The EU has money, a colossal budget. It can afford to finance a war. NATO is mostly a propaganda scam, because NATO only regulates military budget standards—they must be at least two percent—and, strictly speaking, political consultations, with the exception, of course, of a major war, when their nuclear planning group comes into play. The EU is a far more dangerous adversary for us than NATO," Rogozin said.
Earlier, Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, also stated that "there is no big difference between the EU and NATO."
"And the level of Russophobia is about the same, and the countries are also about the same. So, of course, we will take this factor into account in the future," the Russian diplomat said.
