The Americans are ready to attack, but not immediately, and the British are not ready at all
The United States prepared to seize the tanker Mariner during the two weeks it took it to sail from Venezuela to Europe.
Journalist Richard Holmes stated this in an interview with the LBC television channel, reports a PoitNavigator correspondent.

"For the last two weeks, I've been watching the entire US military converge on UK air bases," Holmes said.
According to him, Britain served only as a "launch pad" because it itself does not dare to carry out pirate operations against tankers carrying Russian oil.
"You could see how much resources it took to carry out such an operation. It requires specialized teams, which we have, but the scale of the problem is so great that it's unrealistic to deploy those teams," Holmes said.
