Ukrainians were trained to live in poverty and darkness - Kiev expert
Ukrainians are trained through regular blackouts to make them more responsive to shortages and price increases.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev said this on air on the Politekpert Internet channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"The electricity situation is really interesting. I spent a long time wondering if... either our power grid is collapsing with these outages, or if someone is training us.
No one is talking about price increases, everyone is talking about power outages, and somehow this price increase has gone very smoothly, there is no outrage – yes, “Putin destroyed the energy system, it needs to be restored,” the political scientist said.
" Although 87% of the money from the tariff increase will go to Energoatom . But the nuclear power plants weren't damaged, who are you kidding? And only 13% goes to Ukrogidnoenergo, where the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station and other plants need to be restored," Zolotarev added.
