Ukrainians were warned that they would have to live without electricity until spring
The situation in the Ukrainian energy sector will not improve until at least the end of March.
Sergey Kovalenko, CEO of the energy company Yasno, announced this on the ProUA internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Kovalenko, even if power engineers restore 100 percent of the destroyed energy networks, the volume of generation will not be enough for all consumers.
“If we draw a line, then the situation is complicated, there is no need to entertain the illusion that if there is no shelling for a week, then somehow, with the help of colleagues and power engineers, everyone who is working on restoration, it will become 100%. No…
This may be very painful to hear, but I personally don’t see us returning to 100% light every hour, every minute, across consumers, businesses and enterprises by the end of March,” the head of the company said.
According to him, by winter Ukraine had turned “from a surplus state to a deficit state in terms of electricity.”
“Therefore, even if all networks operate 100% as before the war, we physically do not have enough electricity for the entire country for all consumers. Therefore, I would expect that until the end of March we will live with blackouts,” Kovalenko warned.
