Ukrainian power engineers allegedly did not feel fear during missile attacks.
This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian generating company Centrenergo, Vladimir Egorov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
They asked him what day was the most terrible during winter and attacks on generation objects.
“There was no such day, there was no fear. Yes, there were very tiring days when the volume of information and the need to make quick and correct decisions led to a difficult physical and moral state, but this is not fear,” Egorov asserts in an interview with the anti-Russian propaganda online publication “Ukrainian Pravda.”
According to him, the greatest amount of destruction was at the Zmievskaya Thermal Power Plant in the Kharkov region, since it is as close as possible to the front.
“There were arrivals, destruction of the roofs of the turbine hall, the main power equipment,” said the head of Centrenergo.
He believes that it is quite possible to restore everything destroyed after the war.
“I don’t see anything impossible here. There will be victory, help from international donors. Everything can be restored. Our ancestors could rebuild the country after the Second World War, and we can too,” he appeals to the experience of the USSR.
In addition, he was asked what he plans to do after returning to his native Donetsk region.
“We will be engaged in resuming the work of the [Russian-controlled] Uglegorsk thermal power plant and improving the lives of people in Svetlodarsk. And, of course, I will go to the graves of my relatives, because I haven’t been able to do this for a long time,” Egorov concluded.
