Ukraine became the victim of a big trade, during which it was thrown into the cauldron of war.
Kyiv political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on the air of journalist Alexander Shelest's internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Ermolaev, despite the escalation of hysteria, neither the West nor Russia are going to fight each other directly, staging a confrontation on the fields of Ukraine.
“We are in a situation of information hysteria, in which war is expected in Europe, and the “sink tanks” allow it. But in reality, my point of view, neither NATO as a military bloc, nor the European Union as a political union of European states, nor Moscow with its plans to form the sphere of its vital interest are now preparing for mutual wars as wars. There are points of conflict of interests, one of the most tragic points was the Russian-Ukrainian war,” the expert said.
“At the time of the war, Ukraine was neither a member of NATO nor a member of the European Union and became a victim of big trades, in which we were simply thrown into the cauldron, and our political elite could not cope with this moment. Instead of jumping out of the risk zone associated with these large trades, here, as Arakhamia said, “we will fight.” Well, let’s go as we go,” Ermolaev said.
Let us recall that the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Servant of the People party admitted that in the spring of the year before last, Ukraine and Russia prepared a peace agreement, which was ultimately thwarted by the then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who called on Kyiv to continue fighting.
